Massage for Veterans
At Phoenix Rising Holistic Therapies LLC, we are dedicated to supporting the health and well-being of our honored veterans through therapeutic massage therapy services. As veterans, you've served our country with valor and dedication, and it's our turn to serve you by providing access to therapeutic treatments tailored to your specific needs through our partnership with the VA Community Care Network.
Step 1: Get A Referral
Before scheduling an appointment with a non-VA provider in the community care network, you must obtain a referral. Your VA health care team must approve your care.
Once you've confirmed your eligibility for massage therapy through the VA Community Care Network, the next step is to obtain a referral from your healthcare provider. This referral is essential for accessing the services you need and ensuring that they are covered by your VA benefits.
If deemed appropriate, your healthcare provider will issue a referral for massage therapy services through the VA Community Care Network. This referral will authorize you to receive treatment from a licensed massage therapist within the VA's approved network of providers.
Provide your VA health care team our name and NPI# for the referral:
Phoenix Rising Holistic Therapies LLC, NPI# 1619668977
Kristin Atlantic, NPI# 1821793894
Kristin Atlantic, NPI# 1821793894
Step 2: Schedule Your Appointment
Once you've received your referral, the VA Community Care Network team will reach out to us to schedule your appointment.
We will review your case and let them know whether we are able to take it on. If we take on your case, we will reach out to you to confirm the appointment and send our intake form.
Step 3: Receive Exceptional Care
What to Expect from Medical Massage
Once you've received your referral and scheduled your appointment, you may be wondering what to expect from your medical massage session. Unlike traditional relaxation massages, medical massage is a targeted therapeutic approach designed to address specific health concerns or conditions.
During your session, we will work closely with you to understand your unique needs and goals for treatment. We use a variety of techniques, including deep tissue massage, myofascial release, trigger point therapy, and stretching exercises, to alleviate pain, reduce muscle tension, and improve mobility.
Throughout the massage session, communication between you and your therapist is essential. Feel free to provide feedback on pressure levels, areas of discomfort, and any preferences you may have. Your therapist will adjust their techniques accordingly to ensure a safe, effective, and personalized experience tailored to your individual needs.

”This is my first massage therapy through the VA hospital and I could not be more greatful for Kristin. Shes very professional and caring. Highly recommend her 👍🏼”
~ Guadalupe B.
”So very professional and is a great help! The massage helps physical pain, and mental stress! At times the chronic pain is such that I don’t think I can drive home let alone go to work that day, but after a massage I can think More clearly, drive to work and go have a productive day/ days. Having this as part of my health care makes a difference in all areas of my life, hard to put into words but I definitely recommend this to anyone I talk to!”
